New Look to my website

I am giving a new look to my webiste. Although the layout and the contents and everything else is going to be the same its just the look that is changing. I am changing just the colors of the pages.
Check out the new look here and kindly give me some suggestions and comments about the same. The links on the left hand side of the page may not work correctly untill the final version. This is just to get a feel of the new look.

This is really true : Will Someone miss me someday.......

I got this poem as a forwarded email from my friend. At first I thought it to be one of those typical forwards but on careful thinking I think that this is really true and we definitely need to give it a thought and act accordingly.

Here is the poem:

"Will someone miss me someday . ."

I see the sun in the sky
Trees are moving through the wind
Who am I..?
What's my place in this great world..?
Am I like the trees..?
Like the sun..?
Like the sky..?
I try to find my way in this life
But that isn't easy to me

Some people say...
When you body die,
your soul live further
you will live further in the mind of your friends..
But what if your soul dies..?
You have to go on Even when you don't want..

History behind 12 'o' clock for Sardars....

People usually associate the dialogue BARAH BAJ GAYE (It's 12 '0' clock) with Sardars (Sikhs). It is a remark which means that they go into a 'mad' mood at twelve o' clock and start acting crazy and do all sorts of crazy things. We even say this dialogue to anybody who acts really foolish at any point of time. But not many of us are aware of the facts behind the origin of this dialogue. Here is a brief version of these facts:

"This is about the period when India was under the subjugation of the Afghans, the Mughals and the Turks. It was a habit of the marauders to loot the masses (mainly Hindus), take the spoils of war and along with them take away all their women for their pleasure. The only people who stood against these people were the Sardars. With 'guerilla' tactics, they attacked the Muslim camps and liberated the Hindu women from the clutches. The usual time of such attacks was either at noon, or midnight. The attacks were so ferocious, that the Muslims began dreading the expected attacks of the Sikhs at 12 o' clock, midnight or noon".
It was these people who coined the phrase that "Sardaron ke barah baj gaye".

And Now, THE IRONY:
The descendents of the rescued people are making fun of the rescuers!!!!! I think any person who repeats this sentence against the Sikhs is making fun of the meekness of his own lineage.

So now I guess anybody who reads this might reconsider before using this dialogue.

Microsoft IE vs. the rest of the Browser world

CNET has reviewed and presented a comparison of the most widely used web browsers around the world. The browsers compared and reviewed are Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6, Mozilla's Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera 8, Deepnet Explorer and Netscape 8. Clearly from the results Firefox wins over the rest.
So if still stuck with IE or others, time to switch to firefox.
